This is not life drawing but was a sketch of a parking ticket machine, lamp post and tree in St Paul’s Square in Birmingham, just before life drawing. This was intended as simple use of watercolour on shapes blocked in pencil, as preparation for using a similar approach to the nude. I don’t have a clearly thought through colour palette for skin though.

Star-gazing, and watching the lights of the coastal wind farm on the sea’s horizon.
In the news, indigenous people gathered to discuss protecting the Amazon,
And Canada burned.
