Wow, this is great I love it! The colours – it could be half rusted shrapnel, the composition – they group together suggesting a relationship, the shapes – asymmetrical, devorative and gangly add a drop of mystery. It’s like ordinary things have come together to show they are actually extrordinary. Makes me think again of that story where the furniture gets up and walks out.
It was a doodle on the iPad that developed itself. It reminded me of Matisse’ cut out still lifes so I continued that idea. I don’t know but I might develop it further on paper.

I know. These things slip through our fingers. I’ve been looking back through some of my pieces and wonder if I could even do them now.
I know that feeling
I look back at some pieces and don’t even remember them – wonder how the heck I got there! Glad to know it’s not a unique experience
