I went to see the black headed gull chicks again.  Last week they were saurian balls of down with barely detectable wings.  Now they are larger with obvious flight feathers.  Many were preening their new grown vanes.  Some flew figure of eight over the pool.

    • HI Jo
      Thanks
It was a quiet morning at the reserve – I was worried because there were lots of cars but something rare had turned up at another pool and few people came and bothered me drawing the unfashionable species.
